People have wrongly been under the impression this is still not so for longer than it was actually not so at this point.

I really don't care about any of the image issues besides the idea that serious designers don't use PCs. It's simply elitist BS.

As far as complexity of calculations and graphics goes, neither platform has a significant edge on the other in those arenas. Nothing I read indicates NASA to be using custom machines, which would blow the buzz out of the water.tryanmaxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09881154741574720094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1449854860936166342.post-8688075202117414962012-08-15T12:05:38.432-05:002012-08-15T12:05:38.432-05:00tyranmax

Just like any computer company, there are high-end and low-end models, and it usually takes something on the high end to host pro-grade software. For myself, I use a pro-model Dell. I would never use an Inspiron for serious work. Nor would I use a base-model Mac.

And one other thought: having gone through a wide range of different computers, including Macs, I'd say they are still one of my top favorites. Just not #1.tryanmaxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09881154741574720094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1449854860936166342.post-55345484918961092402012-08-08T16:58:04.207-05:002012-08-08T16:58:04.207-05:00"I’m a professional and I use professional to..."I’m a professional and I use professional tools." this line made me happy, knowing you prefer a pc. the old adage came to mind: use the best tool for the job.

makes my angst less.Notawonkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15388997298014397980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1449854860936166342.post-45508805304170256852012-06-30T12:08:24.885-05:002012-06-30T12:08:24.885-05:00That's good that you don't have to watch t...That's good that you don't have to watch the news with baited breath on your birthday, Tam. Only the people who have never worked there complain about a McJob. An actual McJob is a great gig with lots of opportunity.
